Calendar Event QR Code Generator

Add an event to a calendar with one scan.

Let people add your event to their calendar by scanning a QR code. Enter the title, start and end time, location and a description, then export a PNG or SVG. Generated locally in your browser.

Times are encoded as entered, without a time zone. Calendar-app support for event QR codes varies — test before printing at scale.

Enter content to generate your QR code.

These are static QR codes: the content is encoded directly and never changes — no redirect, no tracking, no account. There is no subscription and no hidden limits. (Dynamic QR codes use a redirect service so the destination can be edited later and scans tracked; this tool does not, for privacy.)

Your content and logo are processed locally in your browser and never uploaded.

How it works

  1. 1 Enter the event title and location.
  2. 2 Pick the start and end date/time.
  3. 3 Add an optional description.
  4. 4 Download a PNG or SVG.

Common use cases

  • Add a “save the date” code to invitations.
  • Put event details on a poster or ticket.
  • Share a meeting time on a slide.
  • Add webinar or class times to materials.

Frequently asked questions

Are these static or dynamic QR codes?

Static. The content is encoded directly into the QR code and never changes — no redirect, no tracking and no account. Dynamic QR codes (editable destination, scan analytics) need a redirect service, which this tool does not offer, by design, for privacy.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Everything is generated entirely in your browser — your content is never uploaded, stored or logged.

Which apps support event QR codes?

The code uses the standard iCalendar (VEVENT) format. Many camera and QR apps recognize it and offer to add the event, but support varies by device and app — test before printing at scale.

Are time zones handled?

Times are encoded as entered (local, without a time-zone marker) to keep things simple. For events across time zones, state the zone in the description.

Is it really free?

Yes — free, with no signup, no watermark and no limits.
